Today we launched our first widget for KeepUp, it runs on the Yahoo Widget environment. If you dont have the Yahoo widget environment, you can get it here.

To install the KeepUp widget, just click on the "Get It" link in the Yahoo Widget Directory.

If for some reason this doesn't work you can get it from us, but first setup your Yahoo Widget environment, then download our widget here (unzip and double click on it).

Once setup, it should look something like:

You can click view tasks or new task and it will open your default web browser and log you into the KeepUp service.

You widget will update itself once an hour by default, but if you want to refresh it manually you can click the refresh icon.

If you are on a shared computer you can logout when done working using the logout icon.

We hope to be posted in the Yahoo Widget directory later today, please let us know what you think. Other widget environments will be coming soon!

Bundles make Keep(ing)Up even easier!

Today KeepUp has deployed a new version of our service that has made it even easier to find and create the tasks that are relevant to you. KeepUp Bundles group some of our most popular related tasks together and allow you to create them all (or a subset of them) at once. For example, if you are planning a Vacation, we have all the tasks you will need in the Vacation bundle. Planning a move or other big event, we have bundles for those too. We also have some "Startup" bundles that new users should take a look at, that group our most popular tasks in each major category together making it super easy to create all your reminders quickly and easily. Just like the rest of the KeepUp service, the order of the bundles is based on their usage popularity by the community. We will also continue to add and update our bundles based on your feedback, so please keep the suggestions coming.

To checkout KeepUp bundles, just click on the "Bundles" menu link once logged in. If you don't have an account already, signing up is free and easy, it takes less than a minute, just click here.

Introducing "tags" for Task Ideas

Hi, we have felt for some time that our users don't really understand how many great task ideas we have in the system. (we are close to 200 now) Categories were helpful, but dont break down the ideas into small enough groups. So today we introduced tags. Tags are the labels you will see in the Task Idea category ribbons that you can click on and will show you just the ideas that relate to this tag. We hope this helps you find the ideas you are looking for more quickly!
