Beta Patch #9 - same day service

Some cool new usability enhancements went out tonight (about 9:30pm) key things were:
- 203a - Allow you to show task idea categories even if you dont have entities, for example lots of new users haven't put in there pets or cars, and don't realize we have those categories. Now in your profile you can choose -- "Show Only Relevant Categories" or not, this will enable/disable this feature

- 203b - The task idea section now keeps only one category open at a time, this allows you to navigate categories quickly without scrolling up and down the page. This new feature is enabled by default, if you like the old way better, you can set it in your profile by unchecking "Auto Close Task Ideas"

Beta patch #5 - 5:00 pm - thursday

Hi, we spent some time working on IE6 and a few other issues, here are the key items fixed in this release (505).

- Fixed autorenew issues with reminder date not being set correctly in certain cases
- Fixed formatting of help (regression)
- Now showing login failure validation in login box if incorrect user/pass instead of nothing
- Fixed IE 6 problem where validation error box was not showing when creating a new task
- Added Blog navigation link to top nav
- Fixed validation box on signup to be prettier (and consistent on all browsers)
- Fixed bug where every task was autorenewing (not just the ones that are supposed to will)

Here is an updated list of known issues:
- on IE 6 the login menu link does not scroll the page down to the box
- on IE 6 sometimes the browser locks up (please send us a note if you can get this to happen)
- performance of the site varies widely  (some users report 1-2 second response on popup divs, others 10-30 seconds)
- if complete a task that has autorenew that is on a different page it will create a ton of java script errors (fixed in next release)

IE 6 Problems

If you have tried the site for any amount of time with IE 6 you are probably thinking, this site really stinks.

We realize now that a significant amount of you are still using IE 6 and in the process of diagnosing and fixing several issues (found a bad one yesterday where the validation on creating tasks doesnt even show up).

Watch for patch 5 very soon, in the mean time may I suggest you download and use a much better web browser  firefox .

We are committed to making this site work well on IE6, IE7 and Firefox. We desperately want to support safari as well but still stuck on some css issues for now.

Beta patch #4 - 12:10 am wed

Hey, we deployed our latest patch early in the am on wed, here are the key things included:
- implemented quick snooze (if you got an alert today you noticed some links that you can click to snooze and get a reminder in 1,3,5 or 7 days), these have been optimized to work on your mobile phone if it has a mail client and webbrowser (if you have a treo or blackberry, please give it a try and let me know how it works, it works great on my iphone)
- fixed a bunch of typo's im sure they are more, keep the feedback coming
- fixed several bugs including one where if you put in a date greater than 2037 it hoses everything up. Long story but for now I am limiting you to not do dates beyond this. So we will have a 2037 problem in a while if we are not careful.
- several improvements (hopefully) to autorenew section based on user feedback, we have changed the text and also made the section disappear/reappear based on if the checkbox is checked.
